Videos are rendered on computers we operate ourselves in the UK. Only the people who run Mix Visuals can see customer data, each according to their role. Our operator role can see names, emails, mixes, render jobs and support messages, but not payment details.

Stripe also acts as an independent controller for some data (for example to prevent fraud and meet financial regulations), under its own privacy policy. With the Meta pixel, Meta and we are joint controllers for collecting the data, and Meta's own policy covers what it does with it afterwards.

We may also share data with our professional advisers, with HMRC or other authorities where the law requires it, and with a company that takes over the Mix Visuals business (section 11).

6Transfers outside the UK

Our database is in London and customer files are stored in the EU. Some providers above are based in the USA, and our customer messaging provider also gives support from India. Where personal data goes outside the UK, we rely on one of the following:

  • UK adequacy regulations (for the EU, and for US companies certified under the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework); or
  • the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum. Our customer messaging provider is covered this way, including the UK Addendum.

You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards that apply.
